Med all rätt. Under temat Tom Dixon lampor.
French by Design posted a repeat of this nice kitchen that circulated on the Net for some year ago. With perfect justice. Often pictures tend to be disposable items. After having circulated throughout the Net they become hackneyed and are archived tidily in some folder. But this picture is worth publishing again. Under the theme Tom Dixon lights. Because I seem to be obsessed by these. Below you see another recycled picture with the same theme. Nice lamps. They speak their own language. And I just have to add, how cool is not the picture with the bathing girl in the kitchen? An unexpected detail but completely right. Art eye there, I say!

Picknick kanske? Take care, vi hörs!

This picture was also published some year ago in a Swedish interior magazine. I looked for it everywhere but March 2012 issue was missing so it is lying in wait somewhere still. If I remember correctly the story told that the friend of the man who lived here liked the renovated kitchen so much that he copied it entirely. Soul brothers!

Tomorrow is a free day. Super! The sun was really warm today. Hopefully it lasts. Concert is on my schedule and to celebrate the spring. Picnic maybe? Take care out there!

Keep going

Beautiful Friday

Collage by me with pictures from Pinterest
Trying to get to know my new computer, all new programs and functions and it is a complete mess... New interface, new browser and all settings everywhere have completely vanished... So have patience with me if something looks strange... At least I am happy that everything works much faster now, so I will save a lot of time later when I am wiser about this...But sigh, now I will rest from this beautiful chaos and enjoy the Friday evening. Wish you all nice people out there a very nice weekend! See you!

Lovely details

1, 2, 4 Hemnet love:
Josef Frank cushions, yellow Eames, colourful books, retro ceiling lamp, tulips...
A nice mix with details that I like.

3 Cool lamps by the Stockholm-based design studio Note.
Clever, simple and beautiful!
Wish you a nice new week my friends! I have 7 days of holiday! Yay!
Well-earned and it feels so good!
Good night! And see you!

Feel the breeze!

This was just so very nice that it had to be posted immediately. Parisian bedroom with pivoting window, featured in the stylist Hans Blomquist's and photographer Debi Treloar's book The Natural Home (2012). Lovely!

Collage with illustrations by Mette Hørsted

I found the nicest illustration tip this week at Rikke's blog Ellens album. It made me so happy to look through the illustrations done by the Dane Mette Hørsted. I picked out my favourites from her webshop. The lion stole my heart! Pink, black and white, and a dose of humour. Naivistic art and something I have not seen before.

Own mood board with pictures from Pinterest and Exhale only love

Yes, the spring is on its way but still there are some snow left... I just want it to disappear!
One week to go and then it is my winter holiday. Let's call it spring
holiday. As I am no huge fan of winter I always save this as late as possible...
Because during spring-time I love to be outdoors.

Today I was very much inspired by this beautiful bedroom below by Marij Hessel. Visit her blog here.
Just take a look! Print your favourite pictures and glue them on MDF panels for a 3D effect.
Awesome! Good idea and looks fantastic!

I also have crush on the Tom Dixon light. Just as I removed it from my wish list
(yes, I am clever sometimes), it comes back with a vengeance...

These photos were definitley today's favourite ones!
Read more here about the photo wall and see full-size pictures at Marij's blog My Attic.

Flower me happy!

Henrietta, Alfonso, Mr Clown, Lotta

Krukorna heter dessutom så vackert Flower me happy. Fyndigt! Kvalar in på min (långa) önskelista!

No, now I am totally sold on these pots! Funny details make such a great difference. Things that have some personality. Funny art. Made by the duo Meyer-Lavigne. Sigh. I was very much influenced when seeing these nice pictures by Philuko. Take a look here! In addition to this, the name of the pots are Flower me happy. Witty! Qualifies for my (long) wish list!
